A bit about me…

Hello!

Thanks for visiting my creative corner of the internet. Sewing has been my hobby for a decade, and I’m so pleased that this skill can help me be a stay at home mum.

My career before becoming a mum was varied. I worked in retail, admin, and software development. I have diplomas in IT (coding) and graphic design, and while I loved the creativity in those elements of study, I eventually realised that I find far more satisfaction in making with my hands instead of on a computer.

Becoming a mum gave me the perfect opportunuty to start making with my hands again, particularly because I wanted to limit my screen time in front of my daughter.

I love to work slowly to give each garment a beautiful finish that will stand the test of time. And as a mum, slowly is usually the only way I can work! My daughter is teaching me to let go of perfectionism.
